Is my system ok?

Hi I'm over the minimum specs but now days that doesn't mean much.....win Xp...intel 2.66ghz cpu...nvidia 6200 plain old pci card and a gig of ram.....
I'm always leary buying a game with no demo Tom[&:]

Regarding the CPU, it may depend, but at 2.66 GHz it should be a least a Pentium 4 which is exactly what I have.
The graphics card should almost be irrelevant, since the game doesn't use Direct 3D. Many older graphics cards handle 2D better than top of line boards of today. I don't know of teh 6200, though.
A gig of ram should be okay if you stay away from the larger galaxy sizes. I am running 1000 stars galaxies (1400 is max) with a system with 2 GB ram without problems. There is an issue that will eventually produce out of memory exceptions in late game stages, but that has nothing to do with lack of physical ram in my machine.
So you should be fine, maybe with 1000 stars galaxies too much for your system. The newest patch tries to do away with that out of memory issue, hopefully it succeeds.
One note: the game should probably run at 1280 x 1024 screen resolution or higher.
