Just rushed out to get new laptop and external drive.

Backed up and installed my important work files and emails.

What about FOG? My other Matrix games have disk but this was first, reluctant digital only.

Do I copy the game directory and run and enter the code on my receipt email? Or are there funny things in the registry?


By the way, I've tried Dantz, Nero, Fbackup - none of which are idiot proof. I bought a Seagate portable drive and that seems to just enable me to copy files OK.

All you need is the installer - you cannot copy the files unfortunately, it wont work.

Where is the installer, or what is it's name so I can search for it?

The installer is the file you downloaded from Digital River. You will also need the email they sent confirming your serial number.

Phew, found I did have files.

Installed - DR setuprelease 1.01
Installed - FOG patch 1.03
Installed Rise of Rome 1.10

When I start it says Field of glory, but it's got the larger number of battles and DAG so i think that's Ok - which patch next?

Wait for the 1.2.8 coming out today
