I bought the download version so it is already 1.1. I downloaded and installed version 1.2.

Yet when I start a game it says it is version 1.0.

AFAIk until now we have released only 1.01 and 1.02

Ok then my point still STANDS. I simply put the wrong numbers down. WHY does the game claim I am playing an unmodified version of the game?

After you hit 'start' you should see the scenario selection page with the version number at the bottom. Is this what you are referring to?

I think what Doomtrader was saying is that the game first went out from Matrix as 1.01 digital download, and 1.00 from the boxed version. Assuming you got the game from Matrix download, it's hard to imagine how you ended up with 1.00.

If indeed you got it from a boxed version, then tried to patch to 1.02, I'd suggest you carefully check which folder the patch went to.

Updating the game does not update the scenario version number.
