LCU Movement glitch? - NO FABER

Hi all,
This is the 3rd time i've encountered this and I can't think of any reason why it's happening now:
This time at Nanchang, China. My Allied stack was marching SW in Combat mode and the turn they were supposed to move out they all just reset themselves to 0 movement with no destination! I control the hexside so no problem there. I know in WiTP an air attack would stop movement but this is not the case in AE (at least it hasn't been to 99% of the time if it is possible!)
Any ideas or is it a glitch?

I believe I have seen air attacks reset my LCU movement during my PBEM. IIRC it may be affected by the disruption (and perhaps supply) level of the LCU as well.

Hmm. But this rest the whole stack of 1900 AV? Supply is not an issue (as they're not in a Chinese base they all get supply [;)])
Disruption is non existant from land attacks unless an air attack caused the whole stack to warp back 40 miles?

Did the Japanese LCUs attack or bombard on the turn you expected your forces to move? I'm not sure about bombardments but I think if any of your LCUs participated in the defense then they might reset. I cannot say for certain what the reset conditions are in this case so you may wait for additional feedback.

Nope. No Japanese and attacks at Nanchang since I've arrived there.

According to this thread attacks no longer stop movement so perhaps the new code that can allow enemy units to block movement is affecting your situation.

If it is truly a glitch then perhaps you can post a before reset/after reset save file so one of the developers can see what triggered it.

I´ve got the same things happening in my PBEM. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn´t. Mine is a bit different though because the leading unit usually moves out, all following units revert to defend. Has nothing to do with any enemy attacks because it also happens when there aren´t any attacks at all.

I've had the same issues. Stacks losing all previous movement and resetting to "0" movement. Or an entire stack set to follow another unit and the lead unit loses all it's movement and the destination hex is now blank and greyed out, while the following units show they are still following the lead unit but no destination set, movement lost and everything greyed out as well. These are all cases where there was no enemy unit present or an air attack of any kind. On another occasion a stack set to move and follow another unit, lost all movement after being bombed by enemy air units and the unit attacked within the stack had switched from "move" to "combat" mode and all movement of the entire stack was lost. I can't remember if it was the lead unit or a unit following. As far as theatres, it's happened in Malaya, Burma, New Guinea and China so far. I make a real effort to not monkey with a stack once it's set to move, sometimes it seems to happen the next turn after checking on the movement progress of a unit within the stack without clicking on anything except the unit itself and exit.
I will post on the tech forum and include a save the next time this happens. In two PBEM's this has probably happened about 3-4 times in each one. I'm patched up to the latest official patch released, but have not downloaded the latest public beta.

Ditto. Some more discussion in PzB's AAR on this as well. Just not sure if this is WAD or not. It is surprising though when it happens. Really upsets your plans.

Casn't see how it's WAD....hate calling it a bug since I don't know but it doesn't seem consistent and it appears random. I.E. I can think of situations that have involved Japanese units in the hex, sometimes attacking, sometimes air attack, sometimes not etc.

Found the problem and sent the fix to Michael, a very restrictive trace flag was being used that was causing the trace to fail. Until a fix is published just don't use follow coming from an enemy hex.
