I am hoping that someone with the time and skills required will come out with a sound mod. I have not played the previous Panther games, so was surprised at how poor the sounds were in this game. Mortars sound weird, one of the machine gun sounds like an 8 bit arcade game, richochets that sound like they are from a bad war movie and one of the rifle sounds sounds I swear is from someones TV with western playing. Over all fidelity is very, very poor.

This is kind of a pointless post...but maybe it will give encouragement to someone out there with the know how and will to create a sound mod.

...please hurry

P.S. just looked at the sounds directory and it looks like they are well organized wav files...should be an easy mod for someone that has better wav files in their collection...I am almost tempted to do it but I have 3 kids and a more than full time job (lazy)

One idea is to use the excellent sounds from Close Combat but Im not sure its allowed.

Reference my post in general - if I get a nice response from the devs i'll make a sound mod.
