Inadvertant War

Well, mid war with a fairly large enemy, I sent 2 lone troopships to capture 2 undefended planets in a 3 inhabited planet system of his empire...

It turns out he owned 1 of those 3 planets, and the others belonged to another empire that used the same colors...

So it seems I'm currently at mid-war with 2 medium-sized enemies...
----
I should have been able to pick out the different flags. (then again, flags are not a sure thing. In my last game, a small custom-game with only 2 foes, my foes both wound up with the same flag as me, with very-similar colors... sigh. -- I'd suggest using an HSL color-wheel to pick out significantly different colors for each nation).

I would also suggest making AI empire flag, color scheme, ship artwork set, and empire name customizable in the game setup options. This would help solve said problems and also go very far in helping players and modders set up custom scenarios. In addition, I would suggest making previous custom game settings reload the next time a player goes to setup a new custom game, it would save lots of effort and clicking!!!

Indistinguishable enemies is pretty much why I find it easier to be at war with everyone. It's just too easy to shoot the wrong thing, they all look so alike, they're all so underfoot, and they all hate me and bitch constantly. Kill 'em, let God sort 'em out.
