First Ship, intended as a escort.

So I only have one issue with this yellow one, there's blinking blue lights on it. I'm pretty sure I got rid of the pure yellow dots, but I guess not. Anyways I had intended it to be a replacement for the explorer.

I recommend using it for planets without the clouds, Cybertron looks silly with clouds. I used barren.
I did not create this picture, and I do not own it.

Can you post in-game screen? I'm curious to see how diagonal blue lines look when the engines are going. As for the ship, if it had others to go with it in a set, I don't see why not, good drawing work.

Oh yeah that's what I was forgetting to do last night was in game, I'll snap one now.

Yeah using diagonal blue lines does not do anything but a portion of 2 pixels made a smaller exhaust line next to the big one. So I fixed that and here you are.

*EDIT* I need something good to practice with my programs so I suppose I'll make some ships from scratch and make a set.
Even though it's only 200x200 pixels, I'll learn some tricks to make it look more 3D I did a lot of trial and error with the shading on this one >.<
I'm asking for any criticism of any type to help me with my skills on making these :)

First I think it is about whether YOU want to use it.
I spray painted all the ships of my fleet black, because I think a warship in space would camoflage itself as black. I am sure other people would think it looked stupid.

But yes, it is a nice ship, and one I would use. [&o]

I'm sure I'll love making a replacement for every ship in the game! lol
But my entire adobe collection has JUST collapsed randomly and nothing will work soo now I can't have my fun when I finally found a new use for it.

Thanks for the reassurance, that alone will keep me going.

And I FINALLY got it all working again after hours of annoying forum searching and constant googling hopefully it isn't temporary xD
I think I'm gonna make a bunch of random ships and pick out which style I like most then make a set out of it. I shall begin my life on this forum! xD I smile as my post count slowly arises lol.

Really nice work, Slyke. Keep it up, but have fun. That's the most important thing.

WoodMan posted a photoshop solution to the blinking lights problem here:-

Thanks guys and I'm checking them all out today, I tried that photoshop trick and it should have worked [&:]
Guess I did it wrong.
Also i have a question the PDF thing about customizing said I had to keep ships within 200x200 pixels, but I have seen releases of 500x500 on here?

It helps if you have a smaller amount of memory on your computer... I think.
I redraw everything to 200x200 or smaller... [:)]

I could only find a screenshot of the Normandy in an action cinematic from a top down view. So It's not 100% parallel it's like 95%. If anyone can find a good top down view I'll gladly crop it out. I also think I'm going to recreate it like I did the Titan A.E Valkyrie. Just to give it that similar effect with my other mods. but here's a realistic Normandy.

OBSOLETEFirst post there's real game mesh version.

Very nice, slyke. I'll check my resources for another view of the Normandy and PM it to you if I find one.[;)]
