In the ships family folders there are ships named MIL1A, MIL1B, ... MIL4B etc.
Are these ships simply Military ships to switch up the looks in the in game design?

As far as I remember they are unused, sort of test designs that didn't make it into the final game or something.

Now that I look at them some of them do look slightly strange, like uneven and such.

Well, there is a couple of images there that I will use if they ever do fighter support.  Some of those are really good.
