I am running windows seven and when I run the game I can't get the weapons data or any of the F key functions as it tells me the help page is not availabe?
Must be a quick fix to this but I am missing it?

They were replaced by using the available Unit Viewer:

Start --> Program Files --> John Tiller's Campaign Series --> JTCS Unit Viewer.

It's a brilliant tool.

Same problem as other windows 7 users, it stops working immediately so I can't access the weapons files. I was only going to use it to cross reference for the RAM II in the new units.
Not a big deal if it will be fixed with then next update :)

Odd, there is a user a few posts down that asked the same question and said that it was working under Windows 7.

Maybe play with the compatibility settings on the files?

Let me know how it goes!

Unit Handbook (F2) should actually work fine under Windows 7, if it does not this is usually a sign of some unit in the OOB thats buggy.

General Help, Parameter Data, Unit Data and Weapon Data are all in old Windows Help File Format *.chm or *.hlp I think.
This is not anymore supported under Windows 7. I think you can get some update to enable that format in Windows 7 again.

Tried all the above with no joy. I must be missing something - will dig a bit deeper. I am new to Windows 7 so I may be missing something basic.
