Im sure,a new patch is needed definitly for WW2.
I had started 4-5 campaigns.All of them never reach the end of the game.
CTD happenns in the middle of all campaigns.
No doubt,there is a problem in some scripts.

Is anobody could get the 1945 year?

Another question.I hear no sond effects during strategic air bombarding.Why?I see a sound file in data folder but no effect.

And for me does not work after 1942/dont load save file

Indeed, we will fix it in next patch. Thanks for spotting that.

I think I can fix this one. Most probably it was caused by spelling error in one of event files. Please send me your save.

Also please replace your data\events\events_26_romania.xml with the one attached to this post (of course unzip it first).

mine does the same. i was using version 1.6 and it just kept crashing

We need more info, the best would be few last lines from consoleout.txt, copied after crash.
