Where did the Fog of War go

Post by Rasputitsa »

Just started a new install, which worked OK (game normal with fow), applied the square counters, info box and boardgame map mod, selected advanced rules with FOW switched on, but FOW doesn't seem to operate in any of the scenarios. I can see everything, however I set the game. Before I start a new install has anyone had the same experience, thanks. [:)]

Now the game has gone back to normal and I haven't changed anything. [&:]

Its why they're called Personal Confusers...

Software (and even hardware) on PC's can go 'weird', then revert back to normal. Midlife crisis, youthful rebellion, Terrible two's, etc; take your pick.

I've seen some absolutly weird stuff, near pull my hair out trying to fix it, walk away, come back, reboot, and its working like it should.

Its no wonder why IT guys drink like fish... and get a touch testy at times...

Yes, I had it set 'on' for FOW in the options, but every scenario I opened had all units were showing. I switched off and re-started the computer and it was back to normal. Incidently, which font are you using in yout game boxes and how can I install it, thanks. [:)]
