Hello Folks,

I'm a TOAW: CoW player and my resistance has been weakened enough that I want to now purchase TOAW 3. Before that I happens, I have the following questions:

1)Patches: Patch v3.2.29.27 describes itself as a "comprehensive update". Does this mean I need to install only this patch and all other previous patch fixes will be included?

2)Check this out: http://bit.ly/aElZSh Are these improved graphics now available for TOAW 3? If so, how do I get that?

3) What is BioEd? What does it do and how do I install it?

4)I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate, 64 bit; are there any major issues I should know about when running TOAW 3 on this system and if so, are there fixes for them?

My apologies if this information is already posted elsewhere on the forum but I could not find it. Guidance is greatly appreciated.

BioEd allows you to edit many things that cannot be edited within TOAW itself. If you are into changing and creating, you will need this.

The Beta 3.4 patch is available now from the member's area. There's a thread on the main forum about how to access it. The current plan is to make a few minor changes and release the public patch sometime next week. Some of the resources for that are out of my control, so I can't promise that, and the issues so far are pretty minor and documented at the top of the support forum. None of them are major problems so far <knock on wood>. I'll know more after this weekend, I'm sure.

The new graphics are optional and included in the patch.

I'm developing on Windows 7 64. Pre patch there are a couple of issues. The beta patch cleans up most of them, and the public patch cleans up the rest of the problems that I know of.

Excellent! Thanks for the help ...sounds to me that I can purchase the game, install the beta patch and play without much trouble at all.
