I just found this game a week ago and I love it already.
The 1.22 patch doesn't work though when I copy it into tos directory I can open it but cannot go to battle it will freeze or hq, it will just exit the game factory works though.
I am running 64 bit windows 7 is that my problem or am I doing something wrong?
tmerge also doesn't work 64 bit incompatable please help

There seems to be a sound related problem with some setups.
Can you please tell be the exact type of sound device you are using ?

You can check wether it is sound related by editing the file tcc.cfg in data/configs.

There is a section called [TOS_WS_GENERAL] where you can set

music_at_all = no

and another section [TOS_WS_BATTLE] where you can add

ambient_at_all = no

With these two settings music and ambient sound streaming are disabled but sound effects are still on. Please try and report.

I changed music_at_all to no and that fixed it thanks! awesome game, wonderful that there is even still a moderater for it this long after the release.
sound device? I assume you mean my hardware.
it's a laptop so built in sound

p.s. the ambient thing wasn't there so I added it and yes that made battle work, and yes it all worked fine until I updated it

So v1.2.1 worked with music in all modules but stopped to work in battle and hq module after update to v1.2.2b59 ? 

Did you enter a battle already ? I fear it will crash if you don't set ambient_at_all = no too.


EDIT: Please check and report 1.2.2b60 with music enabled.

I downloaded the b60 and changed music and ambient to yes it works now thanks.
