Hi,

Thinking of buying this game. Is it one where I need the physical shipment? I suppose my definition would be "does it have a printed manual which is so useful that I'll want it on paper", else I'll do digital dowload.

Hi Jon,

The manual is not printed and the in-game Galactopedia and Tutorial cover most of what you need. The physical copy would be mainly handy for archival purposes, but you can also burn your download install file to a backup CD if you prefer.

Ha, ha, dare I say it, I have also posted the same question in the Forge of Freedom forum because I am considering getting that, plus (no advertising!) I am similarly tempted (with same question) for "Dominions 3" (bit late to the party on that one) elsewhere!

I know I will be getting DW, because everyone says it's a worthy successor to MoO2, and I have waited long enough for that!
