Ok, I'll admit it. I must be a noodnick, cause i can't figure out how to increase the support level of units that are under-supported..ie, their support number shows red.
What must i do?

You can't increase a unit's support level beyond what they are given in the game. What you can do is increase the overall support level of a hex by bringing in HQ and base force units, as these have a surplus of support. As long as the hex's support level is in green you are OK, even if the majority of units in it have their support level in red.
