Is it possible to print from *.pdf files only the text without background and images?

It's fairly easy to copy the text only and paste it into something else, like Wordpad. Then you can print from the second application. (I did this with the update file for the MatrixGames edition of Pacific War, and it was amazing how much the file size shrank.)

I don't want use anything that requires my e-mail address.
It's fairly easy to copy the text only and paste it into something else, like Wordpad.
Tried that. Layout and tables go out of whack.
