Siege battle weirdnesses (marshall) - resolved

Thanks - does this include allowing surrende to take place? Do you know if there is a problem with surrender?

In 1.07.02 you can't surrender if your besieged in one of your cities when they breach the defenses. This bug makes it very difficult for Turkey, Spain and Prussia to be viable positions to play. Everytime you loose a seige with a corp in it your going to loose a political point and the troops. Most of Turkeys troops are in Feudals that you can't put into a garrision

Surrendering on the breach is a very important balancing feature otherwise the powerful nations runaway with the game. You can with with the smaller nations if your brother-in-law is playing the way it is now.

You should be able to give orders to your garrison to surrender upon breach. Click the counter on the map to give it orders. Also, Corps in garrison never cost the owner Political Points, though they can give the owner or the besieger a PP if they win the assault.

I have tested all the nations except Spain and Garrisons and Corps don't surrender. I have been using the option Breach: Surrender Sortie N. I also tried Breach Surrernder Sortie Y on some of them just for kicks.

You are correct I mistated who got the political point. But the bigger thing for the small countries is their troops don't surrender unless broken.
