Have had this a couple of times now. Altered the estabs and after a while get the following output when compiling:
> C:\Matrix Games\Battles from the Bulge\EM.exe -compile "C:\Matrix Games\Battles from the Bulge\Estabs\BFTBEstab.xml"
Loading XML from C:\Matrix Games\Battles from the Bulge\Estabs\BFTBEstab.xml

The error is always the same, i.e. to do with Mot Howitzer even though I haven't touched these units.

@Arjuna,

Don't know if this helps but each time this happened to me I had been looking at a 10.5cm mot howitzer bn in the estab editor.

THe AI uses the subForceType for force allocation purposes - eg give priority to mortars or bombarding arty. It also uses it in the reaction code - eg. if an anti tank unit then consider dropping off in the assault to provide fire support once with9in effective range of objective.

Thanks Dave - but what is causing the error (even without touching these units)?
