This game is playable by more than 1 person doing PBEM. I been looking at the product page and it does not say. Me and my friends are looking for a game that has that attribute. If it does support multi player how many can it accommodate?

Another question. If you only have 4 people can the other 4 Major Powers be controlled by the A.I.? Also, how good is the AI?

Yes, the AI can take over as many nations as you like, never tested that in Pbem though, although others have, you might try asking Mus as I believe he has played one of those 4x4 games.

You can do 4X PBEM's-done one. The ai seems to leave two of its 4 nations in limbo-doing nothing. This apparently is the case with minor or major nations. You can still have a decent game anyway, but 8 players is better.
There was talk of trying out a 6X game (at International War gaming Club)-I don't know if anything happened with that. It would be interesting to see how the ai would handle that-perhaps better.
Keep in mind that there are 4 major powers and 4 minor powers-if one guy takes France and the others all take minors you know who is going to win.
Welcome aboard.
