Getting tech support

I posted a support question to Matrix over three days ago and haven't yet heard from anyone. I am getting a Fatal Error 1073741819 when I try to run the game for the first time. I've posted details about my problem and a screen capture of the error, but no response yet from anyone at Matrix's tech support to show that they've even read about my problem. Does anyone know if they are all at a conference or something this week? I'd really like to be able to play the game that I payed over $100 for and am losing confidence in the support for this product provided by the company. Anyone else have a similar experience?

I have no idea, but from what I have seen the best place to get tech support is right here on this forum. Try starting a thread with your problem in the tech support sub-forum (just as you did to ask this question).

I would suggest un-installing first.

And then re-install.

It sounds like the registry wasn't updated correctly.

What O/S have you? And do you have Admin rights on the PC?

A DXdiag might also be helpful - how to do this is in the top section of this forum, IIRC.
