No patches for this series?

It seems there is no developer support for any game in this series? Are they all considered "Perfect" at release, or what? I am thinking of buying one of them but I am worried about this (is that a strange state of affairs or what - no problems mean big problems).

I can only site my own experience playing Chariots and Spartan: I didn't notice a single bug.

Never had an issue playing GoT or Spartan. Two of the most stable games that I've ever played.

Matrix only released the games long after they were fully patched. You can see the Slitherine site for a full list of patches. Probably 20 or so between them. We have no plans to touch the code base right now - its been 4 years since we released a patch but the gameplay style does not get dated.
Seems odd to me to worry when a game does not need patches!

The Chariots of War 1.14 patch is no longer available at either of the site links ( or any of the Mirrors ) provided via the Slitherine Website. We could do with a new source link. Please...

Isn't the version matrix sells already patched to 1.14?
The patch is the very first download item on Slitherine from 2004

The Links shown are those I tried a few days ago when I failed to get anywhere...
Today however, one ( The Patches Scrolls : 2nd Mirror ( Filefront ( now Gamefront ) ) ) worked ( !! ) , but was again only traced on the Website after inputing "Chariots of War" as a search. 2nd time lucky I guess...

NB: re the Matrix version : no idea ?! I would hope so....
NBB : I have found that my PC's Back up and Restore does not Back up .exe files, so I need to back up any Patches for my games in case I might need to do a restore in the future. Unfortunatly, I had not kept this one ( COW 1.14 ) as a seperate file.
[ I find the PC will back up .exe files, if they are in a .zip file ! ]
