Perhaps this will be considered trivial but...
Is there some way to adjust the Player Options in the Editor? The tool tip and be counter productive there but there is no way to adjust it without first going into the game, then back to the editor.

Not an easy one. You could go into the gametext.xml file and modify it by copying the player option menu item into the editor menu.
