I bought Uncommon Valor (1.0) some years ago although could not play it as was a 100% maciintosh household. I now have a pc and found my game. Was there a rulebook for the game as I do not (perhaps never did) have one in my CD case.

Which upgrade patches are needed?

the manual is located in
C:\Matrix Games\Uncommon Valor\Manuals

along with the interface guide, and the Player's Guide it's a "short tutorial on how to play"

you will need to have all the patches up to v2.5 to play with others.
