this forum sseems to be more of a during and after action reports area which is fine but how about a forum for just players looking for opponents??

It's for both BB. People post they are looking for a fight...then others send replies and a battle ensues.
Then, so that everyone can enjoy the fruit of our labors...we also post the battle reports here.
So...just post what type of battle you're looking for and wait...someone will be along I'm sure. Welcome to the community!

Maybe we need a DAR and AAR subforum.... Then again, this does appear to be working...

Yes, I know what you mean and your games and commintary are great!.......But I think the people looking for players get lost in here. What was it..........Combat net or Combat Command used to have a player list with a green or red button that you could set when you were looking for a match and when you had all you could handle you would set your preferance to red.
I know Combat Command isn't up yet but for the people who just want an opponent and not league play maybe Matrix could have a player registry as I discribed and a dedicated opponent forum.

Although I like to do and say things to get under the skin of my Green pal...I'm afraid I have to agree with you both. Yes, that is right I do not dissent....in fact the idea gets the coveted:

I guess my way of looking at it was this: Gmenfan has to put up with us a lot...and we are always coming up with more work for the poor guy. I mean, what is he going to do with the Markget Garden thread when it has four sequel pages and 5,000 views?

Perhaps he can make a sticky and everyone can post once to it...that way it's all names...and only small or no comments. That would be the easiest thing in my OPINION.

Ok then...off to search the boards for some other poor sucker who left themselves open to having my OPINIONS dropped on their doorstep!

I'm here and I'm playing, I have 4 PBEM games going I was just checking the "opponents wanted" Kind of willing willing to help a newbee with getting started on PBEM:D
I was waiting for Combat Command to start up but I was getting withdrawals so I picked up a few games here. So my only comment was to the direction of this forum is almost totally ARR's and DAR's which is fine, I get a kick out of reading them but It would be better I think to have a dedicated "opponents wanted" area.
