After reading the Morrison book on the operations on the north shore of New Guinea, I found info on the boat&shore engineers. I had not figured out how to use them or how many to take on an operation so on a whim I deployed them the way 6th army did. One regiment per division deployed. Guys, it worked very well, allowing the troops/supplies to off load even faster with what appears to be less disruption. They fit into perfectly into an AP or APA with room to spare for supplies.
