How are people using the US pioneers with the babes mod?

Let me rephrase the question, do you use them in the assualt as combat engineers or are they used for construction?

Let me rephrase the question, do you use them in the assualt as combat engineers or are they used for construction?

The pioneers represent the Pioneer Bns that were part of the MarDivs. Pioneer squads are Squads - not Engineers - so cannot build. They are Shore Party tagged so can assist in unloading. They have some Anti-Soft so can add to Assault Value. They are stevedores that can also function as "light" rifle squads. So take one along with its corresponding MarDiv and let it help unload the follow-on supply ships. Same thing with the Amph-Trac Bns - that were also part of the MarDivs - they don't participate in combat, but can sure help unload the follow-on supply ships.
