Opponent for Grand Campaign Wanted - Closed

I'm looking for a long-term opponent to play the grand campaign. One day turns, historic rules, other settings can be discussed. I am willing to play the Japanese or Allies (it makes no difference to me).
I can do a turn a day and I'm GMT-4. I've played several PBEM games before and I am a reasonably experienced player.

I play most of my games late evening GMT so you would be ideal for me as an opponent.
I have a fair bit of experience although only 10+ turns into a PBEM GC before opponent DR Diplodocus quit and hasn't been seen since.
Would prefer Allies.
Rules to be discussed although I prefer the historical to the gamey

Apparently that's exactly what happened. Are you still looking for a "clean" version or are you considering a mod? (I'm not fond of mods or beta mods).
