Move save from laptop -> Desktop = CTD

This morning I copied my save game file from my dektop to my laptop. I then went outside and played a few hours. When I copy the save back to my desktop I get a CTD when trying to load the save. Any suggestions? Things still work fine on the laptop. I tried playing a few turns and still get the same results if I try to copy over the save. Both machine are Windows 7 64 bit.

I see that ConsoleOut ends with the following text:

Dodaem jednostk morsk.: Vittorio Veneto
Dodaem jednostk morsk.: USS Wasp
Otwieram plik z pastwami ze ciek...
data\save\Roger\countries.csv
Otwarcie OK
ERROR: Cannot handle word from column 70 for countries.

I don't see anything obviously wrong with countries.

Last follow-up to my own posts...

I see that the 170 hotfix is installed on the laptop. If I install that on the dektop it either crashes when I hit "start" or hangs when I try to load a save game.

I think I might rename the ToW folder on the desktop, to save it. Then I would copy the whole folder structure from the laptop to the desktop, and see how that does. Good luck.

A little more playing around, and it works. The 170 hotfix is defintately not stable on my desktop though. Once I get it to start it seems fine, but, it crashes a lot trying to get there. Is there a 180 patch in the future?

1.8 beta is already available, so if there won't be any significant problems it should be officially released soon.
Problem with column 70 in countries.csv is related wit different versions of this file, so I'm guessing that you had 1.7 on your desktop and 1.7a (hotfix) on your laptop.
