Campaign air losses going down?

Hi,

Imagine my pleasure that with Japanese air losses against AI rising steadily, I see on my intelligence screen on August 6th 1942 that the total Betty air losses from A2A is 999. So I cant wait to see me reach the 1000 Betty losses confirmed next turn, especially as I see several go down in flames from my CAP.

But, end of turn for August 7th arrives, and I look at intelligence screen. Where had all my Betty kills gone? Now it shows only 412 A2A kills and the total has gone down from 1384 to 863.

The next highest losses are Zero. Again this had gone down but not by as significant an amount. Total kills shown on 6th Aug = 922, on Aug 7th = 903.
A2A losses dropped from 475 to 455.

Is there any adjustment in losses made in the game at some point or is this a bug?

August 6th file attached, August 7th file attached in next post - (2 files too large)

Any help or clarification appreciated, or else all Allied pilots will be looking for the paint stripper to knock off those extra Jap kills of their fuselages..!

That is Fog Of War.
Enemy losses are not precise, they can go up and down by about 50%.

Thanks for reply.. in the meantime I switched to Head to Head setting to see jap figures.. thats showing original high losses, actually slightly higher.. for August 7th, well over 1000 Bettys lost to A2A. So which is the accurate figure please?

The correct figure will be shown to the player who owns those planes.
Turning off FOW should also reveal numbers I think.
So in case of the Betty, the Japanese player should see the correct numbers.
