I wanted to get some feedback on how these look. So far I've only done the German and Japanese regular infantry. If people like it I could do all the other countries as well as the militia.
The one problem is they do look a bit cartoonish. The actual artwork comes from an old civilization game. Making them look decent is very time consuming.

I'm still looking at the forum each and every day. But really, there was hardcore inactivity since February...

Does anyone want to give me a good tutorial of AWD tricks and effective gameplay? Playing solo gets me bored a bit...

P.S. Those infantry icons look real nice!

I'm probably just talking to myself but here's an update anyway. I decided to start from scratch and resize all my custom infantry to match the exact size of the originals. After I'm done all countries will have there own unique style for both infantry and milita. I will also be doing a custom infantry/ militia for the neutral countries as well.

Some of the veteran players may not care for it but in my opinion the game has a more Axis and Allies look to it and should look very cool.

I'll post some screen shots when its done.

Once I finish my testing with the new to be GG game I'll probably ask someone for a pbem.

Sounds good. By the way whatever happened to Wanderinghead? As far as I know he was the only one working on the patches. There are still some minor bugs that need to be addressed.

Don't know, last time I heard from him he said he had some bugs and minor twiks on mind he could work on, but then again he is not part of 2by3 or matrix, so he has no obligation at all, we have to be grateful for all the work he did and hope he does retake it again.
