Depot placement bug

Hi all
we have just experienced a bug with depot placements (this is the first real bug anyone has reported in a while). During his turn the British player placed depots and garrisoned them. However, no one else can see them and the French player was able to march right through them. The attached screenshot was taken by the British player during his economic phase, which was after the French land movement. The screen clearly shows British depots in Edinburgh and area 130 (west of Newcastle). However during the French movement, France was able move through area 130 without fighting the garrison then besiege Edinburgh without fighting the depot there (in fact you can still see the depot outside of Edinburgh, which contradicts the rules).

One of players thought this was not the first time they can seen this, so I don't think it is related to 1.08.04. I'll try to get a save game from the British player. Has anyone else seen anything like this,a nd can provide some insight?

Might this be due to garissoned depots no longer stopping movement ?

I think this was the intention; that is that garrisons no longer stop movement...

Maybe so (Marshall?), but us other non-British players don't even see the depots. Only GB can see these depots, they are invisible to everyone else.

It does look like we have a BUG, since whats at Edingburg should not be possible unless both nations are at peace(French corps+GB-Depot).
If the depot is empty it should dissapear after French land phase, if its garrisoned there should have been a field combat.
If empty France should during land movement be prompted if he wanted to eat the depot for supply.
Then if he said yes, then there would be no siege in the province(since all forces in the area need to participate in a siege, and are not allowed to have eaten enemy depots for supply. Or if France said no, it should just dissapear...

Also I sure hope depots are not hidden, because the depot should still cut French supply lines.

But yes, depots are not supposed to stop enemy movement, even if garrisoned, to follow the original EIA-rules.

Regards
Bresh

They certainly should not be hidden and I've not touched any code concerning depots in a while?
Would like to see a game where the depots are visible then not visible???

I'll try to get hold of the saves on put them on Mantis. I'm Prussia in the game, and like everyone except GB, we can't see the depots. However from the screen shot, GB clearly placed them and can see them.

Just an update on this one. We re-ran the land phase, and everthing worked as it should the second time through.
