Sir,
Japanese aircraft have attacked Pearl Harbor port and air bases. Although we were totally suprised by the attacks our troops responded greatly and only little losses were obtained. The battleships West Virginia, California, Pennsylvania and Oklahoma are slightly damaged just as the New Orleans. Our other battleships are ready for battle. Our scouts have lost contact with the Japanese carrier fleet and also our submarines have not found it yet.

Japanese aircraft have hit Pearl Harbor for the second day in a row. This time they have hit us hard and the BB Nevada and BB Colorado have sunk. Other BBs are damaged. Our fighter cap was hindered by damage to the runways and we were not able to bring all fighters fast enough in the skies. Nevertheless almost 20 Japanese planes were shot down.

We have intensively attacked the Japanese invasion fleet at Kuantan and Mersing. The Japanese do have an air supremacy. Nevertheless a couple of our bombers managed to penetrate through the cap and attack the Japanese landing ships. At least one torpedo lauched by Swordfish torpedo planes has hit the Kongo. She was reported sunk, but this has not yet been confirmed.

He has units on the railroad between Kuala Lumpur and Singapore. Don't know yet how strong they are. If they are slightly weak I will kick his ass in the next days, but I doubt it. Most of my units managed to escape to Singapore via strategic move. Other forces that were supposed to stall the Japanese forces were left behind. I think my odds are pretty bad in Malaya now and I'm probably going to try to get at least the Ozzies out. Tomorrow I have British cruisers attacking his fleet at Mersing again. Hopefully, I can make his quick advance via Mersing a bit more expensive.

We have intercepted a Japanese landing force at Manado. We sank several AKs and an AP and damaged CL Yuri and two DDs. Ultimately no landings took place. We are rapidly retreating to Soerabaja now to do necessary repairs and to avoid attacks by Japanese carrier based torpedo planes out of the direction of Ambon. Several of our DDs were hit with torpedoes. DD Alden has sunk.

We have not seen a trace of Japanese BBs or CVs in a couple of weeks, except for the Task Force that is blocking shipping from the West Coast. We have to consider a possible invasion of Pearl Harbor within the next weeks. Reinforcements are desperately needed!

Do not worry. Resupplying Pearl Harbor is high on our list of priorities. However, due to the Japanese Taskforce near the West Coast we cannot send our transports unescorted. Carrier Strike Force 1, which is currently near Seattle, will escort a fast transport convoy, which will bring two infantry regiments to Pearl Harbor. Due to the many Japanese submarines near the West Coast we do not want to send our carriers trough that. These ships are too precious to lose them as a result of a submarine assault. The convoy will take a detour via Sitka Island.

Good naval counterattack near Manado and Singkwang Dennis just return to base safely.
About Hawaii invasion: if PH is in good state you my try to transmite some planes and even all  carrier based group directly to PH airfield (no stackig limits). Strong CD and AAA defense, mines garrison, doubt if your opponent will try direct amphib assault. And if he will try attack some nearby islands you will got unsinkable carrier.

I personally don't think he is going to attack PH, but it is not impossible. Losing PH would be a big blow, so my first priority is to defend it. Untill I find out where he is going.
