I hope you can help me. I'm deep into my AE game. On the last turn
(attached) the game hangs at the Checking TF Fuel phase.

I've tried changing some of the orders and replaying the turn several times, but it still keeps getting hung up. Can you help me, please?

I suspect that your issue is to do with refueling barges from their cargo. It is a known problem.

I have run the turn using next release code to get over it.

Attached is autosave and reports.

The problem is when barges try to refuel themselves during the turn.

For now, I would suggest you try to manually refuel barge TFs each turn so that they automatic refuel does not happen during the turn.

Would apply to either player (barges or LCI?)

I wondered if you may be able to help me out here.

I'm 100 or so turns into a GC PBEM game with my pal in the States and thing shave been rocking along nicely until our last turn.

I then got a crash which I cant seem to resolve.

I've ben playing Japan in a Iron Babes B scenario.

The crash appears at the Checking TF Fuel stage. There has been no sign of trouble and I've checked with my friend to make sure we are/have been running the same game updates etc. and all is correct there.

I wondered if you might take a look at the save to see if there is a fix.

Alas, Matrix is no longer providing tech support for this game (except the "one last go at code fixes" currently underway and already in Beta testing).
That means no one can use their tech skills to push the game past the problem as was done back in 2010.

I would say go through both sides setup for the last turn before it ran and determine where refueling would be taking place. Put a stop to that refueling and run the turn.

PS - I haven't heard of the barge refueling issue before so I think that one must have been solved in a patch shortly after the above 2010 issues were posted. Is it possible you have been playing the base game from 2009 and have not downloaded and installed any patches? Your Version number can be found on the radio dials screen on startup of the game. Please post that here.

Yeah..we have spent the last few days rolling back turns and doing things like turning off refuelling. No joy. Been playing this game for a long time a number of which made it all the way deep into 45 without a hitch

You say that there is beta testing going on around a final patch. Can you point me to where I find the info about that piece of work or any announcements etc.

As you can imagine this is a rage inducing end to what has been hundreds of invested hours..so I’m hoping there may be some light at the end of the tunnel.
