The newbie wants some of Goblin! I don't know if I buy this 'newbie' stuff he's selling!

8k points, usual settings, 10% or so arty. Goblin is Germany, VikingNo2 is USA, and we're at the Bulge, baby!

Opening salvos are massive! 8 inch batteries, followed by 4.5 inch rockets! I counted 40 rockets out of one launcher alone! I cut loose with 150mm's, and dropped several bridges in his rear area.

My 222 scout cars, in the open middle, found and engaged his van. Lost one 222, and he lost a M3 Scout Car. He has the road covered nicely by a 90mm gun! A Panther G destroyed two Greyhounds that tried to defend the M3.

I also spotted a Sherman 76. Might have been an Easy 8 (not to be confused with THE Easy 8). The north and south are heavily wooded, so there has been no contact there yet.

Paradrops!! The American airborne are landing on us! It's a good thing that Oberst Goblin prepared us!

Run away, Runway, Tiger Panthers and Bumbars Oh my, If you don't mind could you please turn those tank sideways so I can get a good Bazooka shot( Ya never know until you ask ). Don't you worry about those guys in the back there just trying to get enough jumps to get their wings;)

I'm gonna give them their wings, but they come with halos! Where is everybody? Where are the Americaner? So far, a coupla tanks, alot of scouts, and a few airborne is all I can find....

I can't turn my tanks for you, it says 'business end towards the bad guys' in the manual.

I got some Cat nip for ya, you got quite a few Pz-IIIs in the back yard. The middle of the board just got a little more dangerous.

I got some side shots on several Panthers, and I think it was a Strumtiger, took a 76mm between the eyes. A hellcat closed for some close kills however it will most likely die this turn along with several other uints.

You killed a Sturmtiger alright!:( And I did kill that Hellcat. The middle of the map looks like a butcher shop exploded! The American paratroopers are hiding in the woods inside their DZ's. There is alot of open ground to cover before they can do anything...

There are lots of 60mm mortar jeeps hammering my positions. Now there are less.

Hi, Viking Goblin loves to play with paratroopers. Just place a few bazooka teams or Rangers in hiding around your rocket launchers and he will break his neck trying to kill them.

Hi, I think it about time I come back from the Navy and tie a can around a Goblins tail in PBEM

I got a Stumtiger and a Kongistiger, but there is more big stuff coming and I'm running out of things to throw into the meat grinder I call the middle of the board. The Pz-IIIs are up to something con't find them now ? My snipers tell me there is a Jadapanther on the way oh joy(

I think I saw a 8inch counter battery fire, Tell them halftacks coming after my Airborn to come just a little closer, I gots some marshmellos to toast.:p :p ::mad:

I'm getting my butt handed to me!! Time to regroup! A few groups of AB showed me that neat marshmallow trick... Seems rather self-destructive! Remember, those are triple-MG AA halftracks!

Kills on a Panther G, a Kongistiger, and two Halftracks 1 AA, 1 s234( I think). As well as taking out a Commando squad. There is some Pz-III coming up the south, many AA Halftracks and Pz-IIIs in the rear. And some Jadatigers(at least two) and a Jadapanther coming to the front to avenge the death of thier brothers in arms:p :p

I think someone put the experimental paper armor on these things... The rate at which I am losing 'good' tanks makes me think I should have bought bad ones!

Not much to report, op-fire has produced zip, and regular fire cannot be done with dead units!:(

In the south at least 4 Pz-IIIs ran into several Hellcats and a couple of M4. Killed 3 Pz-IIIs and another one of those AA Halftracks.

Spotted a Nashorn but not close enough for a shot.
A Jadapanther is at the top of a hill in the center of the map, jadatigers won't be far behind, not quite sure how to deal with those.


A 105RCL took out one of my snipers (that hardly seems fair):(

His 150mm are still active:(

60mm Jeeps are getting reloaded and will soon be ready for action:D

More airborne die to the triple machineguns on my AA tracks! Not much else happened. I hit a Hellcat uncounted times, and even with its paper-thin armor, could not kill it. I wish you would lend me some of that steel!:p

Got a Strumtiger(I think the crew just got back in) lost two Hellcats one to his 150mm and one to a recon squad:mad:


Killed two more Pz-IIIs, my airborn is losing men in bunches:mad:

Nah, that Sturmtiger has been manned for awhile now. They were trying to get it cranked over to move it. Thats why the rear shot, it was immobilized...

Not much more to report. Lost a PzIII to a thrice damned Greyhound.

More AB have died, but they have taken one of my beloved AA tracks with them! (on a 200-250m shot!) I killed a Hellcat, and put at least 8 rounds into an HVSS, but it would not die.
