ANW 3.10. Playing the China side of "Defend A Friend" from Westpac.
Playing the China side is actually quite tough with heavy jamming and Phoenix missiles advantages on the US side.
So, I decided to use the west side of Taiwan (behind the mountains) as cover (as US carrier is on the East side of Taiwan). It seems to work... but not sure.
I guess my question is: does ANW (3.10) simulate terrain? eg. Radar can't detect behind mountains. If the missile flies too low, will it hit the mountains instead?

Just curious. I know Harpoon CE doesn't simulate terrain, so if ANW doesn't, it's alright. If it does, I would like to use that when possible : )

ANW does use terrain for sensor runs and iirc you'll see planes climbing over mountains as needed.
