Question about building land units

First, what is the basic size of land units when they're built in the reinforcement system? Regiments?

Second, can I assemble a large unit when I build reinforcement, i.e. can I order three infantry regiments and an artillery regiment and "pre-assemble" them into a division so they appear as such, or do I get the regiments separately and assemble them afterwards?

Looking forward to picking this up; this conflict is all but unknown to me, and I'm excited to rectify this.

Early in the war, you construct new regiment and single artillery.

Later in the war, you can construct whole division in one go.

What do you mean by "single" artillery? A battery at a time?

The basic unit is what the game calls an element: battalions, batteries, squadrons. These are the ones you buy in the replacement screen, to replace losses.

When constructing new units, they seem to come in all shapes and sizes, from single-element units, to division-sized units, with several combinations of elements. After training the units, you can combine them into a division, led by a general. You can break the divisions up later, or add more units to it, if you want.

Okay, that's what I hoped it would be. Looking forward to it!

Think I'll dust off Rise of Prussia to get back into practice with the AGE engine.
