Is it still possible to "re-download" a game if for some reason we lose all our data? Like we could with Digital River?

As I understand it you can still redownload your registered purchases through DR as you have always done, they are working on making all your registered downloads available to redownload through the new store[including those bought from DR] but haven't gone live on that yet. The new store will come with unlimited redownloads.Someone can correct me if i'm wrong.

According to our new announcement:

Unlimited re-downloads - Previously you had to purchase an extended download service to allow you to download your game for 2 years. Now you get free unlimited re-downloads as part of the purchase price! Note that previous sales through our old store will still re-download from Digital River, but we are working to see if we can provide extended downloads to those orders as well.

That's great (I missed that info in the announcement). I've bought a lot of games from Matrix and have had to re-download some of them on occassion, so I'm glad that option will continue better than ever!
