What is definition of Halting?

Also is it a Task, Reaction, Action, or Deployment. Trying to get a handle of the Task/Reaction Action/Deployment boxes on the unit screen. Another thing, I saw in the left box MOVING and in the right box DUG IN......how can that be? The manual doesn't give a lot of detail on this.

Arjuna can explain this better than me but in general, a unit that has not yet reached it's final task objective location and is in good order will halt if it spots something in order to deploy for firing if there is a worthy target.

A unit that has not fulfilled it's task of moving to it's final task objective location and has not moved because it or it's HQ is under fire, suppressed/disorganized/exhausted for a long enough time will eventually change from deployed to dug in even though their orders are to keep "moving".
