Crop Circle toggle increments on re-load

Um.......whenever I start TOAW and choose a saved game to play, the crop circle toggle button state is incremented by TOAW. So that if I save a PBEM game ( so that TOAW closes afterward ), the "ini" file is overwritten with that state information. Upon a reload of ANY game ( TOAW is opened for the first time since the "ini" file was last saved ), the map shows the last crop circle toggle state to be the one AFTER the state the game was last in. It's no major biggie and easily "fixed" by you just toggling it to the state you prefer. I just happened to notice it. That's all.

As a quick workaround, have you tried this in the Opart3.ini ?

 CropCircles=N
 AllCropCircles=N
 OneCropCircle=N

EDIT: Um........I just up-version-ed to the 3.4.201 and now in the mini-map I have either all crop circles on or all crop circles off. There is no view of just one crop circle. What gives??? Anybody else observe this behavior?

Just check again Opart3.ini for the crop circles.

The above setting works for me. I can turn them on and off during a game, despite the "N" setting.

You could always re-install...as a last means

As a note, when i opened one of your Russia/NATO 2005 .sals crop circles were displayed at the opening of the turn. Though i had set them to not show when i closed the game the last time before i opened your turn. After editing the opart3.ini it was back to the original behaviour.

Yes, your editing changes work for me too. It's just that using 3.4.201 I get no single crop circle in the mini-map. In the mini-map it's either all the crop circles are on or all of them are off, there is no single crop circle setting in the mini-map.

How did you do that Telumar?  You fixed my machine somehow.  It started working and I don't remember changing anything to make it start working.  Well, okay, sometimes it works and sometimes it don't.
