Many thanks to Mr. Grigsby for yet another splendid wargame. Many thanks to Mr. Rutkins and Matrix games for such a great place to be a wargamer.
Today I started the 43 campaign for real, and I have done what I have been itching to do for years. I have cancelled Zitadelle, and withdrawn 48, 2SS, 3, 47,and 1 other Panzer Corps from the 9th Army. I have also abandoned Orel, and shortened the front line. Just waiting for Ivan so I can fight on ground of my own choosing.[:)]

It would cool to play against a "sane" German strategy and find out what happens in that situation.

If the Axis player can avoid Hitler's blunders- e.g., Kursk, losing an army at Stalingrad through sheer stubborness, not allowing the Heer to go into winter quarters at the time of the Rasputista in '41- I picture the Germans fully competitive into 1944 with a formidable mobile reserve.

In HtH, a Russian player can avoid Russian blunders too: It works both ways :D
