I cannot buy a game using Firefox on the Matrix site. I have to go to IE8. No idea why. Are you using Firefox? Because that looks exactly like the error message I was getting with Firefox.

Hi guys,
I've seen this error on Firefox, but only as a transient error. A reload fixes it immediately for me. 2ndACR, are you seeing this every time you try to purchase and you can't fix it with a reload?
Regards,
- Erik

It happens to me every time on Firefox. I can't upload a different avatar picture either for the same reason.
It does not bum me out because that is the only thing I use IE for. I don't know how to fix it, so whenever I need to I switch to IE8.

That's very odd. I use Firefox 99% of the time. I completed all the pre-launch test orders with Firefox. I just finished another bunch of test orders last week with Firefox and only saw this once on a single page load (immediatley fixed by a refresh). What version of Firefox are you using and do you have any add-ons enabled? Can you try updating to the latest version if you have not and as a test disable all your add-ons to see if that helps?
Regards,
- Erik

Saw this error code about 30 times even with a complete close on all windows and restart of firefox.
My order just went thru and downloading now.......go figure. Guess number 31 was the charm. Sorry to cause a ruckus, got used to DR which always seemed so painless. Of course DR always made me wait 24 hours for verification but this one went right thru.
Newest version of firefox updated yesterday. no add-ons that I know of.

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2.13) Gecko/20101203 Firefox/3.6.13 GTB7.1
Not sure if that is the latest, but I'm generally pretty good about updating it when the updates come through. I within the last few days had an update to it.
Like I said, I just do whatever is necessary to get things to work. If something doesn't work on FF, I try it on IE8. If it won't work on either, that's when I send up the alarm signal.
It started when the update to the website here was done. I figured there was some setting I didn't have checked and thought it was probably just my own issue (which is does seem to be isolated to a few people).

I've bought both RUS, Hannibal and WitE on the Plimus system with Firefox and precisely zero problems.

Not tech savvy enough to give that version number. LOL
First time I really ever had an issue using Firefox on really anything. But maybe they can track it down and stomp it.
Well, T, I am just passing along what I see. Not saying everyone is having the issue. First time out of all my Matrix games to have an issue.

That's the same version I have and I believe that's the latest.
Can you please try temporarily disabling all add-ons (if you have any), restarting Firefox and seeing if it still happens?
Regards,
- Erik

Click on Help -> About Firefox and you should see the version number there.

That is what pulled up. Now at 74% with no time outs, so far so good.

Thanks 2ndACR, that's the latest version too. Do either of you have any add-ons installed?
Tools -> Add-ons from the top menu in Firefox.

Oh yeah, and just saw that I am on my son's user and he has the Zynga Toolbar 2.7.1.3 enabled. It is not enabled on my admin account. Maybe that is it.

Thanks, none of those should cause a problem, but could you try disabling each of them in that menu, restarting Firefox when your download is complete and see if that makes any difference? You can always enable them again after testing this.

Well, I have a bunch of add-ons which really annoys me because I always click no when asked to add an add-on. I just disabled Google tool bar and MSN whatever. I never wanted that crap, but it appears on my addons anyway.
