Greetings,
Can anyone suggest which of the following might be a good choice, and why. Thinking
about geeting my first WWI game:
1)WWI Gold
2)Guns of August
3)First WW-France 1914(HPS)

WW1 gold is my recommendation. Games at this scale have never held me for very long as I prefer tactical HOWEVER this is the only one I have put many hours into and will go back time and time again....France 1914 is supposed to be good BUT can become very tedious moving all those units to contact....

Definately WWI Gold , SUPERB GAME!!!

I was unable to get into WW1. I prefered Guns of August. Easier to get into and plays faster. The KI does also a good job.

Let me know when you want to try GOA via email. It is a very good game, interface takes a little getting used to.
I am thinking hard about getting WW1 since gamersgate has it cheap.

I would wait until the Commander Great War is released to be honest. Or try battlefronts WW1 game. Also HPS game is a lot better than the current crop out there
