Who put the Liquid Schwartz in the diesel tank?

Must have been a prototype for the USS Seaview - cause I got an old S boat 60 miles SE of Buna high up in the Owen Stanley range - and naturally enough, I cannot give her orders to go anywhere. Now, normally, this would not bother me, but of course it had to come after I had just readjusted all of my Luganville TF's to conduct the invasion and reform themselves according to my opords, so I am miffed, to put it politely. Seriously, gentlemen, I really appreciate the work in this game and as an ancient PacWarrior I have yearned for this game - but the patch is letting things leak into the bilges that should be kept out of the boat. I only get a couple of hours a night to play, and I hate to see about an hour session to set up for the invasion of the canal go down the tubes because of a flying sub. So, can you whomp up a way to make it fly out of there??

Did you check to see if Adm. Ghormley was in charge?
Not the patch's fault

Greetings,
Are you playing #14 - Long Road Ahead? If so, don't blame the patch - it's been there from the beginning. That was the first scenario I played, and man was that annoying for about the first game-month or so. Finally learned to ignore it. Didn't bring it up, because I figured it was a relatively minor detail with all the other items on the patch list.
Regards,
Randy
Oh, Ghormley's in charge (HA) all right!

That is the one thing I miss from the old PacWar - you could at least change your operational commanders and send the incompetent one's packing. But, I really have enjoyed what I have been able to do with this game so far - despite the warp speed Tokyo Express and the flying sub. (I'd really like to see a BB that can run 300 miles in and out and conduct a bombardment in one night - so would Ernie King and the General Board for that matter..) Ah, well - it sure beats the heck out of GNB or Fighting Steel.
