Hi, some screenshots of problems I mentioned in
tm.asp?m=2647088
This is with 1.01 Beta, running the 1943-45 campaign.
First, casualties are being inflicted by 0 Kg bombs:

2nd, Axis elements killing identical Axis elements, so far I have only seen this in the Air Phase of combat, but quit often:
Observed instances include Wespe-Wespe, Hummel-Hummel, Pz Pionier-Pz Pionier, Pz Gren - Pz Gren.

In addition, the reason for the very high losses from air attack seems to be from the large number of devices that the IL2's have. A single attack element of 14 Il2 alone can inflict significant damage. If you want I'll tally up some numbers, but I suggest you load a 43 scenario and play with combat message level 5 and see for yourself.

... and 16 Yak1's managed to create an impenetrable escort screen that held of 155 interceptors, while losing less than half of their own and claiming 13 kills.
I would expect that the only damage that the 235 Il2's would make would be if any of them crashed on a pz after a FW 190 shot it down!

I've yet to see any fighters shoot down a bomber when in Ground Support, though fighters will fight each other. CAP seems to only work over airfields.

Can you tell me how to recreate these anomolies on turn 1 of 43 (0 KG bombs or PG squads destroying PG squads), or can you send me a save game with instructions on what misison to run that would cause these things to happen? Send saves to
2by3@2by3games.com. If this is something that doesn't always happen, please give me some ideas of what to do that would likely make it happen.
As for the fighters not intercepting ground support bombers, again, if you can send me a save where I can run a battle that will highlight this, please do.
Hopefully we can get to the bottom of some of this.
