I thought I'd drop a quick status update.

3.4.0.201 is done. There are some minor issues with the setup routine related to support for older machines, but the executable should be the same one we release unless someone finds a major show-stopper bug, which is extremely unlikely.

I need to do some housekeeping, things like updating my backup software, testing my backups, backing up 3.4 to a couple of DVDs, branching off 3.5 to a new codebase so i can start, prioritizing the features and bugs, etc. After that, hopefully later this week, I plan to start on 3.5.

I plan for 3.5 to be released much more quickly than 3.4 was. 3.5 is a much smaller release, only a couple of major items and some bug fixes. I plan to keep control of the scope creep this time, 3.4 ended up much bigger than it was supposed to be.

It is out of my hands. The code is done and in the beta 201 package. We're waiting for a couple of minor setup issues to be fixed.

This is good news.  But I hope it doesn't take as long as the harpoon update.  That's been done for a month and a half and It's nowhere in sight. [:(]
