After clicking start battle in the grand campaign as the allies with the germans attacking west arnhem the game crashes during the battle screen loadup. I find this happens a lot in various campaigns with the germans attacking

Is this a new campaign or one that was started on a previous version of the game? What version of the game are you running?

It is a new campaign and I'm running the new beta patch, the game crashes just as it says 'Initialising AI' befor the drumroll that loads up the map. Infact, I have started a new campaign and it has happened again, this time on a differen map with a different battlegroup. This really is annoying me now. Why should I have to pay for a game that doesn't work? None of the other CC releases on Matrix games have caused this problem
