Slitherine & Matrix are pleased to announce that the eagerly awaited Blitzkrieg France expansion for Battlefield Academy is now available from the store (Matrix store should be launching the game later today but it is already available on Slitherine)! We have also simultaneously released the 1.50 update with a host of new features and tweaks. May 1940. Following the invasion of Poland, Germany opens the western front and invades France. It’s the Blitzkrieg, a new and dangerous form of warfare based on speed and aggression using concentrated mechanized forces to pierce the enemy lines and encircle them.

After taking the wargaming market by storm with its revolutionary fast paced gameplay system, Battlefield Academy is back with this amazing add-on pack. Players will be able to take command of German forces and lead them to the conquest of Paris.

With 9 single player missions and 4 multiplayer missions, 25 new units and a host of additional features, Blitzkrieg France takes Battlefield Academy to a new level.

There is only one installer version. It doesn't matter if you bought BA from Slitherine or Matrix, DR or Plimus.

It should be on the Matrix store next week.

If I purchase from Slitherine's site this weekend, will I still be able to register the expansion pack on the "My games" section of the member's area of Matrix's site? 

I purchased BA from Slitherine and it does not show in the Matrix members area but does show on the my games page at Slitherine. My expansion does not so I don't know if it is going to matter.

How does it work for FoG?

I tried to register my Slith serial number but it states invalid key.

My guess is that the game isn't in the system yet, and so it won't recognise your keys? I'm sure Erik will be able to give more detail.

Is this still the plan? It's already 2:00pm and I don't see anything yet. No biggie, but for convenience sake I'd rather purchase from the Matrix Games site than from the Slitherine site.

It is now Available in the Matrix Store. 

If you did buy it from Slitherine, you will not be able to register it in the Members Club here at Matrix, but I will look into changing that.

I purchased the game and expansion from Slitherine.com; attempting to register the serial #s on the Matrix.com site doesn't (yet) work. It would be nice if a courtesy message or email were sent to Slitherine.com customers notifying them when they could register the games with Matrix, allowing them to consolidate their records in one place for convenience.

Unfortunately we dont know which customers will want to register at Matrix and sending a blanket mail doesnt seem like a good idea. If you can hang on I'm sure it will be sorted soon!

We'll let you know on the forum when its set up.
