Hello I have just started a PBEM game and my opponent has sent me the June 22nd turn.

But I cannot see any option for a combat replay as in War in the Pacific.

How can I see a combat replay?

That is one of the most enjoyable parts of the game.

There is no literal "replay" as in: nothing that plays out for you. If you go into F11 mode or check the commanders report screen, you can see where your opponent attacked or launched air missions, as well as see the results of those attacks/air missions if you click on the hex where it was launched. Sadly, you can't see movement at this point. However, you can't see that when the AI moves either. A replay feature is already on the "to do" list.

Although it might seem counter-intuitive to those that have played other games that have a VCR type of play-back function, once you get used to the way the F11 works its really in some ways better and faster then seeing each and every move that a historical counterpart would not have the luxurious to see. From the F11 reports the information you get is very detailed on the combat in that hex and even more detail is available via the Loss Report and the CR.

Not saying that having a VCR function would take away from the game, just saying that once your used to it the CR, Losses and F11 gives you a clear picture of what the enemy is doing and what you need to be doing to counter these moves.

EDIT: that reminds me to take the tutorial through a full turn so I can describe these functions as well...
