Where can I re-download Distant Worlds? I bought and installed the expansion but it said it could not start the game. Had an error.
I looked and looked on the website but all I found was the place to buy the game to download it? (Obviously I am not buying it again just to download it) I know there has to be a place to DL it, but it is hidden and not in an obvious place?

Kinda ridiculous that I now have to go the a certain site to download the game from pirates?? Especially since I HAVE a key for it from when it was first released...

I think you have to go to the Members Section.
You may need to register you key there, it's kind of a separate section.

My key is registered and I looked there but the link to Distant Worlds just takes me to the "store" to buy the game. No DL link unless I buy it..

I will just DL from pirates and put in my key since admins havn't answered..

I see something similar. It's a bit of dance, round and round. I know I originally got my copy through Digital River. I was just able to download it again through them, but I paid the 4 bucks to be able to do so for a year (I hate using that company). If you originally got it through them, you might want to see if you can still grab it again.

If you ordered from our store, you will see a download link and a serial number in two places.

1. On the final store page when your order completes
2. In the order confirmation e-mail sent to the e-mail address you provided

If for some reason you did not notice the final store page and did not receive the e-mail, please check your spam filter first and then contact us. You can contact our Help Desk (the preferred method) and you can also e-mail me at erikr@matrixgames.com as a backup. We can re-send your download link and serial number anytime.

If you purchased through Digital River and you need to re-download, you can go to www.findmyorder.com to retrieve your download link and serial number. If you don't have enough order info to do that, please put in a request at our Help Desk along with your personal contact info and we can search and find your order in our database of past orders.
