Question

I'm thinking about buying this at the end of the year when I get paid and I have 2 questions.

1. I like the scope and grand size of the map in WiTP but I could not get into the level of micromanagement. War Plan Pacific by Shrapnel is a good game but it's on the other extreme from WiTP and I was done in 2 hours. Does Storm over the Pacific have some sort of medium in between?

2. Second question, do I have to worry about economics? That is a part of gaming I do not enjoy.

3. Ok, three questions. Sorry! Is there a difficulty setting?

If anyone could answer I'd be grateful! [:)]

Yes, this game is in between.
No, only buying units and conquering cities that have production points and victory points.

It will certainly take you more than 2 hours to play this out.
